Registration & Admission

A. FOR PRE-SCHOOL (NURSERY) & PRE-PRIMARY (KG)

1. The age of admission should be 3 years for Pre-School (Nursery) and 4 years for Pre-Primary (KG) on 31st March.

2. The distribution of registration forms for admission to pre-school and pre-primary will be available decided by the DOE.

3. No Interview and test will be held for pre-school and pre-primary. The admission criteria parameters like neighborhood, sibling, alumni girl child will be assessed for admission.

4. Registration in itself is no guarantee for admission.

5. Admission is open to all, irrespective of caste or religion.

6. The names of the selected candidates shall be displayed on school notice board as per program given by the Directorate of Education.

B. FOR ADMISSION FROM Class Pre-School to XI.

1. The registration shall be open from class Pre-School to XI.

2. The registered candidates for admission class II to class IX are tested in Science, English & Maths only. No test will be held for class I admission.

3. The syllabus of the test shall be of the last examination passed.

4. The eligibility of a registered candidate for admission to a particular class (II to IX) will be assessed on the basis of admission test. The school reserves the right to admit the child, only to those classes for which they have been found fit.

C. FOR ADMISSION TO CLASS XI

1. Admission in class IX will be assessed on the basis of T.C., mark sheet & admission test in Maths, Science & English etc.

All the streams have been introduced in Sr. Secondary class XI Commerce & Humanities only will be open, if seats are available.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION:

1. Birth Certificate issued by competent authority or Transfer Certificate (T.C.) of recognized or Govt. School last attended.

2. Two passport size photographs of the candidate & Parents.

3. For Residence Proof, Photocopy of Ration Card, Aadhar Card etc.

4. The admission will be deemed as provisional if under the unavoidable circumstances, Birth Certificate or T.C. is not available at the time of admission but it will have to be deposited within 15 days, otherwise admission will be cancelled.

D. FOR ADMISSION UNDER EWS QUOTA:

In addition to above documents a proof of income attested from SDM/ Competent Authority Proof of domicile certificate. 25% seats are reserved under EWS Quota at entry point (Nursery) only.

MODE OF FEE PAYMENT

1. Admission charges are to be paid at the time of admission.

2. The tuition fee and transport charges are to be paid for 12 months of the session.

3. (a) the parents will receive fee bills in the last week of every month.

(b) monthly fee should be paid on or before 10th of each month, after which a fine of Rs. 5.00 per day shall be levied till end of the month of the fee along with late fee are not paid on or before the last day of month the pupil’s name shall be struck off the rolls, re-admission shall be done at the discretion of Principal after charging readmission fee of Rs. 500/- only.

4. Fees and other dues may be paid in cash or by crossed cheque drawn in favour of “KALA NIKETAN BAL VIDYALAYA Rs. 250/-

DRESS CODE

To maintain the unity, equality and discipline, the students are expected to attend the school proper uniform prescribed for summer, winter and sports as below :

1. a) SUMMER UNIFORM

(Pre-school to XII : Boys)

Striped red shirt, cream half pant (Pre-school), cream pant (VI-XII) white socks with red stripes, black canvas shoes with laces and school belt and neck tie etc.

(Pre-school to VIII : Girls)

Striped red shirt, red skirt, white socks with red stripes, black canvas shoes with laces, red ribbon & school belt and neck tie etc.

IX to XII : Salwar kameej Suit, Stribed red Kameej, Cream Salwar, White Socks with red Stripes, Black Canvas Shoes and Red Ribbon etc.

2. b)WINTER UNIFORM

(Pre-Primary to XII : Boys)

White shirt, woolen dark steel grey full pant, Navy blue blazer, navy blue jacket (pre-primary), sky blue jersey or sweater (V shape neck), woolen grey socks, black shoe with laces, school belt and neck tie etc.

(Pre-Primary to VIII : Girls)

White blouse, woolen dark steel grey skirt, navy blue jacket (pre-primary), navy blue blazer, sky blue jersey or sweater, woollen grey stockings, black canvas shoes with laces, sky blue ribbon, school belt, badge and neck tie navy blue with red & white strips etc.

IX to XII : White Salwar Suit, Navy blue Blazer, Sky blue Jersey, Woollen grey Stocking, black canvas shoes and Sky blue ribbon etc.
