SCHOOL TIMINGS

Pre-School & Pre Primary:  7.50 am to 12.30 pm

Class I to XII: 7.50 am to 2.00 pm

NOTE: School gate will close at 8.00 am sharp

VISITING TIMINGS

The Parents may meet the following as per the time schedule given below

Timings to Meet Principal: 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm on (Thursday & Friday only)

Authorised Incharge: 8.00 am to 9.00 am on Saturday only with prior appointment Class Teacher or Teachers : 7.40 am to 8.15 am and on PTM day only during the presented time of PTM, generally between 8.30 am to 11.30 am

Office Visiting Hours: 8.30 am to 12.30 pm (the office will remain open throughout the vacations except gazetted holidays)

Note: Parents/Guardians are requested not to go directly to the class to meet their wards or the teachers during school hours, as it disturb the teaching work of the students

FEE DEPOSIT TIMINGS

8.00 am to 12.30 pm on all working days

MODE OF FEE PAYMENT

Admission charges are to be paid once at the time of admission only.

(a) The parents will receive fee bills in the last week of every month.

(b) Monthly fee should be paid on or before 10th of each month, after which a fine of Rs. 5.00 per day shall be levied till the end of the month.

(c) If the fees along with late fee are not paid on or before the last day of the month, the pupil’s name shall be struck off the rolls. Re-admission shall be done at the discretion of principal after charging re-admission fee of Rs. 500/-only.

(d) The Tuition fees are to paid for 12 months of session. Fees for the month of June shall be charged along with the fees of May or as per the circular issued by the school. Fees and other dues may be paid in cash or by crossed cheque drawn in favour of “Kala Niketan Bal Vidyalaya”. Rs. 250.00 will be levied as service charges if the cheque is dishonoured by the bank.

(e) Fee deposit timings will be 8.00 am to 12.30 noon

(f) No students will be allowed to sit in the examination if his/her fee dues are pending.

(g) If Cheque is bounced, cash with penalty to be deposited immediately. No Cheque will be accepted, once the cheque is bounced.

WITHDRAWAL FROM SCHOOL

  • In case a child is to be withdrawn during the school session, atleast one month’s notice for withdrawal must be given in writing by parents/guardian, otherwise one month’s tuition fee in lieu of the notice shall have to be paid.
  • Transfer Certificate (T.C.) can be issued only after all up-to-dates dues are settled & cleared and “No Dues Clearance Certificate” has been taken from the Head of Science Lab., Library, Scouting & Guiding, Sports, Cashier and the Admission Incharge.
  • Students can also be asked to leave the school on the grounds (A) Disciplinary action (B) Unsatisfactory progress in work (C) Detention or repeated detention in Class (D) Damaging & defacing the school property.
  • A students who fail twice in the same class will not be permitted to continued his/her studies in the school, specially in Sec. & Sr. Sec Classes who he is below the average in that class.

ABSENCE

1. 75% attendance in the academic session is compulsory to sit in the final examination/board examination. However, the percentage could be relaxed on medical grounds.

2. Students who are absent due to illness, should bring medical certificate from their doctor on coming to school.

3. No one student who remained absent on the previous day will be allowed to sit in the class and granted “No leave of absence’ without LEAVE Application with reason for absence from parents addressed to class teacher.

4. A student returning to school after suffering from infections or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s certificate, allowing him/her to attend class.

5. Repeated absence without leave or absence for more than 6 consecutive days render the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rools.

6. Re-admission may be granted only on discretion of Principal after re-admission payment of Rs. 500/.

PUNISHMENTS

1. It is compulsory for every student to come in school in full and proper school uniform failing which he/she will be duly punished and fined.

2. If the parents of any child misbehaves with any member of teaching or non teaching staff, the management has right to expel such student from the school.

3. Irregular attendance, habitual want of leave, any kind of cheating or serious misconduct even outside the school premises or any other misbehavior are liable for dismissal of a student

4. For deliberate damages to furniture/fixtures, lab equipments, school building, sports equipment CCTV & Electrical Fittings & window glasses etc. the defaulters will have to pay actual cost of damage plus 10% of the cost of penalty.

5. Late arrivals will be punished as details given under “LATE ARRIVALS” head.

LATE ARRIVALS

1. The school gate will close 5 minutes after the 1st bell rings.

2. All late arrivals, if they come after the gate has been closed, will be punished and action will be taken.

3. Three consecutive late arrivals would lead to the student being sent back home.

4. Students from Class I to Class V arriving after 8.00 am will be marked absent.

5. Students from Class VI to XII arriving after 7.55 am will be marked absent.

STUDENTS USING SCHOOL TRANSPORT

1. All students using the school bus are expected to be on the left side of the bus stops at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.

2. The buses will not wait for late comers.

3. Parents should leave and collect their ward on the same side of the road as the bus collect & drop them.

4. The students should stay away for the main road until the bus arrives.

5. No students should come near the entry door of the bus unless it has a complete stop.

6. The front door of the bus is the only authorized entrance and exit.

7. The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stops only, unless otherwise directed by the bus teacher.

8. When the bus is running on road students must not move around in the bus and no head and hands should be taken outside of the window.

9. Objects of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.

10. Students will be held responsible for any damage to bus caused by negligence or vandalism.

11. No student is allowed to eat in the bus.

12. Rude behavior like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behavior is expected at all times.

13. The bus teacher, and Student Bus Monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Any serious offence must be reported to the principal by the bus teacher.

14. Parents are requested to meet the transport Incharge for allotment withdrawal Change of bus routes.

15. Parents are requested not to argue with the bus driver. If any complaint it may be bring in writing in the notice of the Transport Incharge or Principal.

STUDENTS USING PRIVATE OR PERSONAL TRANSPORT

Parents who have made their own arrangement of transport or vehicle will provide following details to the school authorities:

i) The vehicle registration copy of the vehicle their ward will use.

ii) Name of the driver along with their Driving License copy.

iii) An authority Letter authorizing driver/person to collect the ward forms the school gate. One copy should be with the driver.

The safety and security of the students will be the responsibility of the parents.
